Clark Flag Football Strikes Again

Last Thursday, Clark’s Girls Varsity Flag Football team crushed Durango with a score of 52-0. Jaeda Centeno led the scoreboard with two touchdowns, while Izzy Lopes, Samantha Malley, Tania Chaverz, and Ylla Aparece scored one touchdown each.

“We executed in all levels, and fifty-two to nothing… it’s [as] good as I could hope for,” said the Coach.

“We did great! [There was] a lot of teamwork and a lot of good communication, but still more room to improve,” commented wide receiver Luisa Callazos.

Clark’s JV team dominated their competition as well with a 40-0 win. Jasmine Morison scored three touchdowns, while Emmie Cabrales and Savanna Werner scored one touchdown each.

The freshmen succeeded with an impressive 12-2 score, with Aliza Sytko and Gabby Oliva scoring for the team.
